Looks like you had fun. Lovely results from these crystals. The watercolour block is glued down on all sides to stop the paper from warping when you apply water. It's attached all around apart from a section to let you remove the top layer using a craft knife or palette knife after your painting is dry. I love using Brushos, I've had mine for about 3 years, they're so unpredictable, so expressive and so full of pigment, a very little goes a long way, that's why they recommend using the push pin. I leave the pin in place until the next time I take them out and haven't ever had a problem with spillage.
